Although the crisis continued in 2013, the Dutch shipyards continued to build. SWZ Maritime's March issue gives an overview of Dutch shipbuilding in 2013 in the form of an Infographic. The full list of what was built, can be downloaded with this news item.
Just like last year, SWZ Maritime editor Gerrit de Boer gathered as much information about which ships were built in the Netherlands during 2013 as he could. This year, he received some help from Ralph Dazert, market analyst at the Holland Shipbuilding Association.
Together they compiled a detailed list (the "scheepsbouwlijst", in PDF and in Dutch) containing the ships delivered in 2013 as well as the yards' order books for the coming years (as far as these are known).
