(With video) Two of the largest dredging vessels built and designed by IHC Merwede, the Vox Máxima and Athena, are currently at work on the Ichthys Project in Darwin, Australia. IHC made a video about the project and the vessels.

Contractor Van Oord owns the dredging vessels. The Vox Máxima and Athena have been deployed to dredge in Darwin Harbour to create an approach channel and berthing harbour for large LNG carriers, which will export gas to Japan and Taiwan.

Below a video on the project and the vessels by IHC Merwede.
