The Pollux is the second Pilot Station Vessel (PSV) in a series of three for the Dutch pilots (the "Loodswezen"). Alphatron supplied the bridge and has published a 3D panorama view of the bridge.
The first PSV in the series, the Polaris, was delivered to the Dutch pilots on 4 October 2012 and is now one of the nominees for the KNVTS ship of the Year Award 2013.
The Pollux was launched on the 19 October 2012 and was delivered to the pilots on 30 August. The third PSV, the Procyon was launched 5 July and will be delivered in the second quarter of 2014.
