(With videos) Last month, Jumbo launched the first of two K3000 class vessels, the Jumbo Kinetic. The launch took place at Split, Croatia.
The K3000 vessels have large, unobstructed hold and flush decks and are certified 1A Finnish Swedish Ice Class, for operations in Arctic areas.
Huisman Cranes
Work will now continue on the Jumbo Kinetic in Croatia, following which the vessel will sail to Huisman’s yard in China where it will be outfitted with dual 1500 t mast cranes, enabling lifting of up to 3000 t at an outreach of 20 m.
