The ROC yard, China, will be constructing two platform supply ships (PSVs) of Ulstein’s PX121 designs for the ITG Group. The contract includes an option for two more vessels.

Ulstein Design & Solutions provides a comprehensive design & equipment package that includes basic and detail design, all major equipment, site support/construction consultancy and commissioning.

The vessels are planned for the European market and are suitable for worldwide operation. Delivery is planned in the first half of 2015.

X-Bow

It is the first time ROC will construct a vessel with Ulstein’s hull line design with X-Bow. This inverted bow leads to reduced speed loss in waves and consequently reduces fuel consumption. In addition, the absence of slamming increases comfort.
