SWZ Maritime's May issue features an article on the Delft Systematic Series, a bible for yacht builders, which is now available online.

Dr.ir. Lex Keuning of the TU Delft tested different hull forms to create a systematic series which can predict a yacht's performance. These forty years of research are now posted online (request an account through dsyhs.tudelft.nl). The series is discussed extensively in two articles in SWZ's May issue.

Finished with Engines

Ir. Cees Verkleij has regularly written articles for SWZ Maritime on (diesel) engines since 1988. In all, Mr Verkleij has been involved with engines and propulsion for some sixty years. In SWZ Maritime's May issue, he creates an overview of these years and says goodbye to the SWZ readers. We would like to thank him for all his contributions to our magazine and wish him a good, well-deserved retirement!
