Heinen & Hopman, a specialist in the development and installation of climate control systems to the maritime, offshore and heavy industry sectors, has opened a new subsidiary in South Korea.
Heinen & Hopman Korea is located in southern South Korea, where most of the country’s offshore and marine activities are concentrated. Established in the heart of Busan, the main maritime centre, it is at the nexus between the major players in the marine and offshore industries. This ensures the company can compete both domestically in Korea and well as further afield in the Far East region.
The company works together with a local partner: KMEC. The company sees opportunities in Korea as the market for HVAC-R systems is still relatively small.
