The eighth edition of the Maritime Awards Gala will take place Thursday 31 October 2013 at "De Broodfabriek" in Rijswijk. Last year, 820 maritime professionals from all over the industry attended.
The gala will put Dutch innovations in the spotlight. In 2012 Hiswa stopped awarding the Hiswa Excellence Award, bringing the number of awards to four. This year, with the addition of the Dutch Royal Navy's Van Hengel-Spengler Award, once again five awards will be presented. The other four awards are the VNSI Wim Timmersprijs, the HME Maritime Innovation Award, the KVNR Shipping Award and the KNVTS Ship of the Year Award.
Sponsor Options
Companies can attend the Gala through sponsoring. Main sponsors contribute € 10,000 to the event. A sponsor table costs € 2750. Individual participants can register from September.
