Feadship has launched the largest Feadship to date. The 99-metre superyacht was created by the Feadship yard in Makkum and is also the largest superyacht ever built in the Netherlands.
More than four years in the making, project name "Dream" left the massive building hall last week. As is usually the case with Feadship, confidentiality is a given. Due to the advanced hull construction system and quadruple engines driving controllable pitch propellers, the yacht can attain a speed of over 24 knots, despite its length.
Helicopter Storage System
Experience of a different kind underpinned some of the special requests. Leveraging on the expertise accrued on 81-metre Air, launched in 2011, and the fully enclosed helicopter hangar which was developed for 86-metre Ecstasea from 2004, project name Dream is the second Feadship to feature a certified helicopter storage system.
