On 23 & 24 October the fifth edition of Offshore Energy & Conference 2012 (OE12) will take place at the Amsterdam RAI. The organisation of OE12 expects to welcome some 400 exhibitors and over 6500 visitors to the two-day event.
Offshore Energy, the fastest growing offshore event in Europe, focuses on the offshore, oil & gas and energy market. Visitors can expect a fully packed 12,000 m² exhibition floor in the Amsterdam RAI, filled with the leading (international) firms, including Baker Hughes, Van Oord Offshore, Damen Shipyards Group, Keppel Verolme and Schlumberger. Visiting the exhibition is free of charge.
Conference Programme
Conveniently running parallel to the exhibition, the edition also offers an extensive conference program covering key topics and solutions for the offshore community. The program offers both ticketed sessions and free to attend side events and tailored sessions organised by supply chain companies. This year's highlights: the role of the maturing North Sea, developments in offshore wind, wave and tidal energy and frontier E&P activities.
Offshore Energy Industry Panel
On Tuesday morning, 23 October, immediately after the official opening, a new feature of Offshore Energy the Offshore Energy Industry Panel takes place. The theme for the first-ever Industry Panel is “The offshore sector – A driving force of economic growth”. Some of the confirmed speakers are Goof Hamers, CEO, IHC Merwede and Jan-Pieter Klaver, CEO, Heerema Marine Contractors. The Industry Panel promises to be a valuable event bringing together representatives from industry, science, government and politics.
