Thursday morning, the container vessel ‘Dana Hollandia’ brought in a baby grey nurse shark on its bulb into the port op Rotterdam. It was discovered when the vessel moored at Rotterdam Shortsea Terminal in Beatrixhaven.
The shark is scooped somewhere between the ports of Cork in Ireland and Rotterdam. The Dana Hollandia, loading capacity 630 TEU, is sailing together with two other vessels in a DFDS-Container Line service between Rotterdam and the Irish ports of Cork, Waterford, Belfast, en Dublin.
