IHC Merwede, Damen Shipyards and Foundation Dutch Maritime Network (Stichting Nederland Maritiem Land) are the first main sponsors of the Maritime Awards Gala 2012.
The seventh edition of the event takes place 8 November at the Cruise Terminal in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Every year, over 700 maritime professionals gather for the gala where five maritime awards are presented: the KNVTS Ship of the Year Award, the VNSI Timmersprijs, the HME Maritime Innovation Award, the KVNR Shipping Award and the HISWA Excellence Award.
