The future of the Dutch flag state was one of the main topics at the new year meeting of the Royal Dutch Shipowners Association (KVNR). Other topics that were discussed were maritime education and piracy. In addition, KVNR chairwoman Tineke Netelenbos was presented with the concept version of the brochure ‘The Netherlands: Home to Maritime Top Companies’.
