Yellow & Finch Pubishers organises a Maritime Business Charity Golf Tournament, which will be held on Thursday 15 September 2011. The benefits of the golf event will be donated to the Foundation for Children Cancer-Free (KiKa). Participation to this event is open to everyone involved with the maritime industry in the widest sense.
KIKA
KiKa’s goal is to increase the chance of recovery from cancer for children to 95% by 2025. A lot of research is still needed to achieve this. Thanks to information from now-completed gene research, paediatric oncology specialists are convinced that new treatments can be developed that can cure child cancer not only more often, but also in a ‘child friendlier’ manner. This does mean that it is absolutely needed to start innovative research, specifically focused on child cancer. KiKa (Stichting Kinderen Kankervrij – Children Cancer-free) is soliciting funds for this special research that could help children to beat cancer faster.

The maritime golf event will be held at BurgGolf Middelburg (the Netherlands) who supports the event. The event takes place Thursday 15 September 2011. There will be a tournament as well as a clinic. The event ends with a comprehensive barbecue & buffet with award ceremony and ample time to establish or maintain business contacts.
