During the Dutch Shipbuilding Week many maritime companies and shipyards will welcome the public for an exclusive look behind the scenes. Damen Shipyards Gorinchem is one of the companies to open its doors on Saturday 9 October 2010 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Opening of the Shipbuilding Week
The Shipbuilding Week will be opened on 4 October at the STC (Scheepvaart en Transport College) in Rotterdam and lasts until 9 October. Amongst others, shipbuilding students will be invited to attend. From 5 to 8 October pupils and students are invited to visit maritime industry and on 6 October a meeting takes place at NHL College in Leeuwarden. On 9 October companies will open their doors to the public.
