The first sponsors have volunteered to take part in the Dutch Shipbuilding Week: Alphatron Marine BV, Imtech Marine & Offshore BV and Vuyk Engineering Rotterdam BV. The fourth edition of the Shipbuilding Week takes place 4 to 9 October 2010.
Together with shipyards and maritime suppliers, the Holland Shipbuilding Association wants to show that maritime industry is innovative and has future. Members of the association can participate in the Shipbuilding Week as a sponsor or by hosting activities during the week.
Opening of the Shipbuilding Week
The opening takes place on 4 October at the STC (Scheepvaart en Transport College) in Rotterdam. Amongst others, shipbuilding students will be invited to attend. From 5 to 8 October pupils and students are invited to visit maritime industry and on 6 October a meeting takes place at NHL College in Leeuwarden.
