FG International Holland BV, the Dutch Special Lifting company, has been awarded the Flare Tip Handling study of the newbuild FPSO for Total’s PAZflor development in Angola.

The Eindhoven (Netherlands) based company is the contractor of choice nowadays to assist asset owners in selecting the best possible way to plan the shutdown of their valuable capital goods. Increasingly, oil companies demand that critical decisions are taken about the ‘exhaust/safety valve’ of their system as early as the FEED study phase.
FG applies its latest in-house developed technology for Pazflor, the so called ’12 hours Lifting Arch Frame’. The flare tip is located 127 meter above the main deck of the 325m x 61m FPSO.
