The 2009 shipbuilding week was a success. Several shipyards and maritime suppliers opened their doors to students and public, putting maritime industry in the spotlight. The event also resulted in an increase in maritime engineering students. From 4 until 9 October 2010 the event will take place for the fourth time.
Together with shipyards and suppliers Holland Shipbuilding Association wants to show students, jobseekers and other interested people that shipbuilding is an innovative industry that has future.
Members of HME and VNSI can contribute by becoming a sponsor and/or by organising activities during the event.
