Damen Marine Components and Damen Shipyards Gorinchem have developed a new nozzle suitable for application in closed cold water systems.
The underlying principle is based on continuously redefining the output limits in smaller engines. “The logical result thereof is that you need more cooling water,” says DMC director Steef Staal. DMC is currently marketing a nozzle that can play an important role in these systems. The use of a nozzle in such applications leads to improved efficiency.
