Alewijnse Marine Systems announces that Peter Bouman has been appointed Product Manager Marine Electronics. With this appointment, Alewijnse continues developing its growing portfolio of strategic Marine Electronics products.
Starting December 1st Peter will be responsible for the development of Alewijnse Marine Systems’ growing portfolio of marine electronics products, which now consists of: vessel automation systems, dredging automation systems, entertainment & convenience systems, integrated bridge control systems and simulators for these four categories. Peter will work closely together with the product engineering teams and the business managers.
In his eighteen year career, Peter Bouman has gained a broad industrial experience in rail, manufacturing and process control systems. ‘My passion for the maritime sector grew rapidly after I made a shipbuilding marketing and sales plan for a new business unit started up by a former employer. Apart from that, I love to spend my leisure time on the water, especially in the Dutch area of Zeeland.’
