Ahoy and HME organise six ‘Advanced Technology Conferences’ during Europort 2009. The conferences are dynamic sessions presented by leading players in the market.
The visitor will gain insight in the latest developments within his or her specialism.
– Tuesday afternoon 3rd of November: Mega Yachts ‘The Pride of the Netherlands’
– Wednesday morning 4th of November: Naval Specials ‘The New Standards’
– Wednesday afternoon 4th of November: Workboats ‘Innovative technology’ to Improve Safety
– Thursday morning 5th of November: Offshore ‘Special Ships’
– Thursday afternoon 5th of November: Construction vessels ‘Complex Vessels Making’ the Difference.
– Friday morning 6th of November: Fishery ‘New Fishing Methods for a Sustainable Future’
Special Theatre
The sessions that are free of charge, will take place at the central hall (plaza) of the exhibition in a specially designed theatre. Each workshop will start with a short introduction on the particular maritime sector, followed by four different presentations and an interactive forum discussion with the audience. The ‘Advanced Technology Conferences’ create the opportunity for visitors from all sectors to exchange information during Europort. These conferences are a must for ship owners, shipyards, shipbrokers, suppliers, sector organisations and knowledge organisations.
