The commission of the KNVTS Ship of the Year Award has announced three nominees for this yearly award.
The three nominees are:
* Predator (Feadship)
* Dona Angela Marina T (Damen Shipyards)
* RWS70 (Scheepswerf De Haas)
The winner will receive the award at the Maritime Gala Awards 2009 on 28 October 2009 in Rotterdam. This event highlights five maritime awards: KNVTS Ship of the Year Award, VNSI Timmers Award, HISWA Excellence Award, KVNR Shipping Award and the HME Maritime Innovation Award.
