Holland Marine Equipment (HME) opens a third Holland Marine House: Holland Marine House Brazil. The opening will take place at August 19th 2009 during the Navalshore Trade Show in Rio de Janeiro.

The Holland Marine House Brazil (HMHB) will enable maritime technology suppliers and shipyards from the Netherlands to firmly set foot in one of the world’s most dynamic shipbuilding markets. At the moment thirteen Dutch companies constitute the Holland Marine House Brazil. After the start up, more companies will be invited.

Supporting the companies

The mission of HMHB is to bring the advanced Dutch maritime expertise to Brazil and become the bridge between Brazilian and Dutch maritime industries.

The HMHB strives to achieve this by representing and promoting Dutch maritime technology in Brazil, by acting as a first contact point between Dutch and Brazilian companies, by supporting the companies in collecting and analysing market information and by supporting the companies that seek opportunities for cooperation in Brazil as well as in the Netherlands.

HMHB is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Waterways, The Dutch Maritime Network, and Holland Marine Equipment Association.

Holland Marine Houses
The Holland Marine House Brazil is the third representative office created by HME. The Holland Marine House China was set up six years ago and the Holland Marine House Vietnam two years ago. These offices successfully service Dutch companies in Shanghai and Hanoi. In September the fourth Holland Marine House will be opened in St. Petersburg, Russia.
