Somewhere this summer, probably in July, the cruiseship Rotterdam at the third Katendrechtse Hoofd in Rotterdam will open to the public. An exact date is yet to be determined.
Ship owner De Rotterdam hopes to announce the opening date on 30 March, when all schedules of hotel, restaurant and theater have been alined. Starting 30 March until the end of April the ship’s engineering will be completed deck by deck.
When the fire brigade approves the ship’s safety precautions, decorating teams can start. They will recreate the ship’s original design.
