Feadship has launched its own charter service focused exclusively on yachts built by the Feadship yards in the Netherlands. The new Feadship Charter Division will operate out of the Feadship America office in Fort Lauderdale.
“The Feadship Charter Division is a response to a significant number of requests from Feadship owners, as well as people seeking to charter a Feadship,” says Francois van Well, President of
Feadship America. These Feadship owners are mainly clients who have not previously had contact with the brokerage community and prefer to deal directly with Feadship for any possible chartering of their yacht. Other clients have expressed a desire to operate under the Feadship banner in order to maintain the same level of quality they experienced during the build of their yacht and in subsequent after sales services.
The Feadship Charter Division will only have Feadships in its fleet. The services will be customized to each owner’s requirements, for example in terms of whether to advertise their yacht or to only discreetly offer it to occasional clients on a personal basis. “In addition to clients calling to book a charter, brokers can contact us for placing their clients on a Feadship,” says D.J. Kiernan, manager of the charter division. “Should there be an inquiry from clients who want to charter a Feadship that is not in our fleet, we will contact the brokerage house listing that Feadship.”
First Charter Onboard Harle
The very first charter booked through the Feadship Charter Division started at Easter, with guests enjoying an extended cruise onboard the Feadship Harle. Harle, the first Feadship to join the fleet, is one of the Feadship F45 Vantage yachts, designed to be effortlessly adaptable to a varying range of guest requirements. The innovative layout with all the staterooms on the main deck features very large windows that provide all guests with exquisite views. The large sky-lounge can be easily transformed into a variety of layouts to accommodate different occasions. The sundeck has an abundance of space for lounging, sunbathing around the Jacuzzi, and dining. Harle is equipped with the latest technology and has plenty of water toys to enjoy. The crew consists of a very experienced captain and his eager and capable team. Harle will be at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show (September 24-27, 2008).
