Smit has signed an agreement – for an initial period of two years – with the Port Qasim Authorities in Pakistan to provide assistance for their LNG terminal operations. One 69 tbp tug and one pilotboat will be deployed.
The contract will commence mid 2008. In addition Smit extended its contract with Total Final Elf in Gabon with three years for four vessels.
