To support maritime organisations with education, promotion and finding personnel, the Dutch Centre for Work and Income (CWI) has opened a maritime service centre.
The CWI Maritime Service Centre (CWI Servicecentrum Maritiem, CSM) opened on the 19th of March and will also function as an expert helpdesk for all CWI offices in the Netherlands. The new service centre will be located at CWI Rotterdam Slinge.
CSM is an initiative of the Vereniging Platform Maritiem voor Werk, Inkomen en Zorg and government, management and trade unions in inland shipping.
The centre’s opening coincides with CWI’s week of transport and logistics, where all CWI centres try to bring together supply and demand of workers and employers in the transport and logistics industry.
