KNVTS lecture: Koole Contractors: salvage of OS-35 near Gibraltar

On Thursday 18th of September Koole Contractors will open its doors to KNVTS members to learn more about the salvage operation of the 178-metre bulk carrier OS-35.
The vessel, loaded with 40,000 tonnes of rebar, collided with the LNG tanker Adam LNG on the night of Aug. 29-30, 2022, and sank east of Gibraltar.
How Koole salvaged this ship with a team of over 30 people, what challenges they encountered and what equipment & ships they deployed in the process will be told on the 18th.
