KNVTS – KIVI Martec presentation: Future Proof Shipping

On Thursday 25 January, KNVTS and KIVI Martec are jointly organising an interesting lecture on the design and conversion of the first fully emission-free inland container ship. Dirk de Jong will address the design of the system, the safety philosophy and discuss the challenges faced during the design and approval process of the hydrogen-powered vessel. The second part of his presentation will focus on the actual conversion of the vessel and the first experiences with the H2 Barge 1 sailing on hydrogen.
