In addition to meeting top companies from the maritime, offshore and energy sector on the exhibition floor, the Navingo Career Event focuses on personal development through advancing skills and know-how.
This year’s edition of the Career Event takes place on 23 May at the “Onderzeebootloods” (former submarine building hall) at RDM Rotterdam.
Skill Sessions
A special Skill-session zone can be found on the exhibition floor. Visitors can get advice on how to pitch themselves or how to write an eye-catching CV. In addition, there are different practical sessions, one of which focuses on machine learning and allows visitors to sail along in a future autonomously operated water taxi.
Experience the Sector
From the RDM location, visitors can sail along with a pilot on a ship or follow various tours. Besides that, talkshows take place throughout the day in which speakers of for example Microsoft, Boskalis and Van Oord tell visitors all about developments that will turn the sector upside down.
Meeting companies
ALE Heavylift, Deme Offshore, Feadship, Hydrauvision, Ministery of Defense, Rotterdam World Gateway, Shell, TenneT, Austal, Viking Cruises, Enexis and many more companies are looking for personnel at the Navingo Career Event. From secondary vocational education to university level, and from student to experienced professional. Wanted profiles are electrical and mechanical engineers, mechanics, naval architects, IT specialists, but also jobseekers and trainees with a commercial or logistical background.
